How to: Overcoming the Fear of Failure

You want to know how to achieve your goals, your ambitions, your dreams in this life?

Ignore fear,

And don’t give a damn about what other people think of you.

This idea is simple to comprehend, but do not be fooled; it’s not easy to enact.

Think about what holds you back from doing what you want to do?

From losing weight? From starting a business? Finding love? Getting into college? Discovering your passion?

What is it that keeps you from beginning your exciting journey to your own, personal happiness?

Could it in fact be fear

Fear of failure, fear of rejection, fear of pain, fear of exclusion, fear of others’ opinions…

Fear runs rampant throughout all of us, but having the ability to ignore or even overcome our fears is what creates the potential for success.

Unfortunately, many people are not living their dreams, but are actually living their fears.

It is the saddest thing in the world to witness such wasted potential. Whatever your obstacle is, whatever fear you hold onto, whatever excuse your mind has concocted into making yourself believe that you cannot do something IS A LIE.

Because there is nothing on this Earth, no obstacle or fear, that is more impossible to deal with than the pain of regret.

And you only regret the things in life you don’t do.

Are you still afraid to try and lose weight? To try and start a business? To find love? To get into college? To discover your passion?

The truth is that yesterday does not matter nor does tomorrow. It is only now when you can choose to fully live your life or not. Remember that if your fear has the ability to destroy you, it also has the ability to shine light onto your life in which you never thought imaginable. Do not drown in your worries, anxieties, doubts, or horrors, but float or even swim if you are strong enough. And believe me, you are strong enough.
