Monday Morning Oats Recipe

Want a quick and tasty meal for breakfast?

Try making my yummy banana & strawberry oats recipe!

As a dancer working up to 8 hours a day, I need something energizing to start my day off right. Oatmeal is an easy and healthy alternative to many breakfast foods. No more sugary cereals!


What you’ll need:

  • 1/4 cup Quaker Quick 1-minute Oats
  • 1/2 banana
  • 3 strawberries
  • 1/4 cup of milk
  • spoonful of peanut butter (or any other nut butter)
  • a pinch of cinnamon
  • teaspoon of vanilla extract

Next, add all of the ingredients into a microwave safe bowl.

Place in microwave and heat it up for 1 minute 30 sec. up to 1 minute 45 sec.

Take out of microwave, stir up with a spoon and your banana & strawberry oats are ready to go! Enjoy! 🙂

  1. It looks like a great recipe. Thank you for sharing it. Only thing I would change is not to use microwave, but instead add boiling water to the oats and just wait a minute or two. That’s what I am doing and since Quick 1-minute Oats are already soft, then if further softened with the boiling water, I don’t think they require further cooking.
